Today is the launch of the official IBC Twitter account, a dedicated space for developers and technical teams to stay updated on Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol development and learn how to build with IBC.

The primary goal of this Twitter account is to provide value-add educational content aimed at developers and technical teams integrating and building with IBC. This knowledge-sharing platform aims to support existing IBC developers building Interchain projects and to spread knowledge of IBC to new developer communities, with the ultimate goal of increasing IBC adoption into new blockchain ecosystems.

Content Quality and Criteria

Content quality is critical to ensure the resources provided to IBC developers are best-in-class. This account will take a “quality over quantity” approach and focus on information and education that developers can use today. Information shared on the account may include educational content about IBC, code walkthroughs, development updates, and general announcements about the growth of the protocol.

The handle of the official account is @IBCProtocol. You may be familiar with the account @cosmosIBC - this is a community-run account, and not an official source of information.

The @IBCProtocol account is managed by the IBC team at Interchain. You can get in touch with us via email at ibc@interchain.io.

IBC’s Commitment to Developer Experience

By providing a space for educational content, updates, and protocol-related discussions, the account aims to support developers and technical teams in navigating and utilizing IBC’s capabilities to their full potential.

You’re invited to follow the IBC Twitter, engage with the content, and become an active part of the growing community. Together, let’s push the boundaries of blockchain interoperability and build with IBC.
